The Petal Collection is my small paper flower making business based in South-West London. I'm Brenda, a busy "Sandwich Generation" mum of three, juggling family life and when I'm able, part-time work as an NHS healthcare professional.

I've always loved flowers. As a child, I remember my favourite jeans were covered in a rose print (it was the '80's!). I also spent a lot of time making things out of cardboard and paper, painting and drawing. At some point, I decided to put those things that I love aside to pursue a "sensible career".

A few years ago, I realised that I could no longer have fresh flowers in my house as my children really struggle with hayfever. Recently, I decided to make my husband a paper daffodil for St. David's day and in doing so, I discovered the world of paper flower making and re-discovered my passion for hands-on creativity. It has been a truly mindful and fulfilling experience so far.

As a healthcare professional, I have decades of experience in caring and attention to detail. These skills are used in every flower that I make.
